Therapeutic Yoga is a mid-week wind down for your nervous system and physical body. This class combines restorative yoga postures, gentle yoga, breath work, active joint mobility work, and guided meditation techniques to leave you feeling blissed out. This class is great for the experienced practitioner who wants to take a slower approach to the practice as well as the yoga newbie who needs more directed cueing and time for posture transitions. Cues are focused on functional anatomy and biomechanics to allow for a deeper understanding of your body and also how to move it safely. This is the practice that will meet you where you are and carry you for a lifetime.

Great for: people trying to destress during their lunch break or retirees looking for a way to stay active as they age.

Heated Power Flow

Thursdays 5:30p - 6:30p EST
In-person in Columbia, MD

Heated Power Flow fuses multiple yoga traditions with warmth or heat to deliver a deep sweat and detox of the body. Linking the breath to the body, this high-energy cardio yoga class will leave you feeling strong and cleansed, body, mind + soul. Ariel’s signature style focuses on deep core engagement through the bandhas (or locks of the body) and functional anatomy cueing to allow students to learn how to move safely through an intense practice.

Great for: fitness athletes who need an active recovery day, active beginners.
